Maybe it’s the wannabe blogger in me but I thought it would be so fun to compile a list of all of Luke & I’s favorite parts of Northwest Arkansas in an effort to help our wedding guests from out of state love this place as much as we do! Even if you aren’t a wedding guest of ours, I hope you find something on this list that you love!

To skip the blog and go straight to a map, CLICK HERE for food and drinks & CLICK HERE for shopping!

SHOPS:

Pearls Books & Dickson Street Bookstore: Pearls (pictured below) is one of my favs to go to every time I’m on the square! The perfect little bookshop. Try Savoy Tea right across the street while you’re at it!

City Supply: All things Fayetteville, Hogs, & Arkansas! Great shop for souvenirs, gifts & more

Presley Paige: Owned by my friend Maggie, Presley Paige has the best gifts, party supplies, home decor & stationary in town! You can’t miss it, it’s a big bright pink building, very girly & fun! Try Pink House Alchemy right next door & get the cherry limeaide!

Maude: My favorite clothing and jewelry boutique since college, they have the best staples!

Restaurants:

For breakfast we love Little Bread Company, Arsaga’s Mill District, Mamaka Bowls, The Farmers Table Cafe, Nomads (so many mimosas), or Lukes favorite classic diner – The Rolling Pin (get the chocolate gravy).

Feltner Brothers or Hugos: Great burgers

For something swanky try ATLAS, we love going here to celebrate birthdays & anniversaries!

For a great patio & cocktail, go to Theo’s on Dickson St. or Feed & Folly. If you go to Theo’s my favorite cocktail is the Las Frescas!

Best pizza is definitely U.S. Pizza or Tiny Tims

Bars & Brews:

Our favorite bars are The Vault, Theo’s, Maxines Taproom (oldest bar in Arkansas), Dickson St. Pub & Pinpoint. Or you can relive our college days and just walk up and down Dickson street & pop into any bar there!

For breweries we’d recommend Fossil Cove!

Things To Do in Fayetteville:

Fayetteville Farmers Market: every Saturday morning on the Fayetteville square! Our wedding weekend is at the end of May so there should be TONS of flowers at the farmers market that weekend, lots of early summer vegetables, and some great food vendors! Try to find the Dirty Apron tent and get a loaf of the BEST sourdough!

Explore the Fayetteville Square: almost everything listed above is within walking distance of the square, take a couple hours and just explore!

Walk around U of A Campus: Perfect for a morning walk

Pickleball at PB&JJ’s

As much as we love Fayetteville, our hearts are in Rogers & Bentonville! We’ve lived up in the Rogers area for over 2 years now & Luke grew up here. We can’t imagine leaving & are so excited to raise a family here! If you’re staying in Arkansas over the weekend, I highly suggest making the 20 min drive north to see the best of what NWA has to offer!!

Things to Do in Rogers & Bentonville:

Crystal Bridges Art Museum: The galleries include American masterworks and surprising lesser-known gems from the colonial era to today. Sculptures grace both interior galleries and outdoor trails.

Bentonville Farmers Market: Arguably our favorite farmers market, this is where you’ll find Luke, Roman & I almost every Saturday morning! Located on the Bentonville Square.

Walking & Biking Trails: they’re everywhere & so easily accessible! Try starting at the Bentonville Square or Crystal Bridges. There is a neat coffee shop that is only accessible by walking/biking trail called Airship Coffee at Coler. Highly recommend!

8th Street Market & The Momentary: This area is so neat, its got coffee shops, a bookshop, lots of food options, a small museum, The Tower Bar, my favorite dessert bar & cafe, and some other cute little small businesses! Sweet Freedom Cheese and Markham & Fitz are definitely worth hitting if you like charcuterie boards and chocolate!

RESTAURANTS:

Breakfast/Brunch/Coffee Shops:

Onyx Coffee Lab: You can’t visit Arkansas and not go to Onyx at least once. There’s a reason why its sold all over the US & it all started here! The headquarters location in Rogers is my personal favorite but they’re all great.

Airship Coffee: any location, they are great and the coffee is good!

Delta Biscuit Food Truck: super sized breakfast biscuits, our friend owns the truck and we always try to go when we are in Bentonville on Saturday mornings. It’ll most likely be parked at the Bentonville Farmers Market on Saturday morning or right outside the Airship Coffee shop on 5th St any other day of the week.

Louise at Thaden Field: The cutest breakfast/brunch spot tucked inside the private airport in Bentonville. So yummy & you can watch all the private planes take off while you eat.

Lunch/Dinner Spots:

Table on 6th: A staple for us! Such good food and its in a great quiet spot, cute patio.

LOMA: Upscale Mexican food, it is sooo good!! Rooftop bar would be great if weather is good, they have fantastic margs and guac.

Pastafina: Located right by our house, this authentic Italian restaurant is one of my FAVS!

Table Mesa: Another great Mexican food option on the Bentonville Square.

Tavola Trattoria: Yummy Italian food on the Bentonville Square, sit outside if you can they have the cutest bistro tables!

Lady Slipper: they have a fantastic burger even though they’re mainly just a cool bar & it feels like you’ve teleported to NYC.

Pedaler’s Pub: Good food, pizza, apps & beer, right next door to the Hub which also has good food and drinks!

Bar Cleeta: tapas! Luke absolutely abhors this place but its one of my favorites. He just doesn’t like the concept of small plates. *eye roll* They have great food and wine though!

Preachers Son: Upscale restaurant in a renovated church right in the heart of downtown Bentonville. They have a great rooftop patio bar and also have the speakeasy Undercroft in their basement. Highly recommend hitting all 3 if you can!

Bars & Brews:

Scotch & Soda: Bentonville square

Bike Rack Brewery: Close to Bentonville Square

Undercroft: Speakeasy underneath Preachers Son.

Tower Bar: Wide open windows looking over downtown Bentonville, beautiful sunset spot, very aesthetic bar. Located at the top of The Momentary.

Pinky Swear: newer bar in Downtown Rogers, really cool & intimate.

Lady Slipper: Mentioned above, great spot for good drinks and apps.
